Petoskey, Charlevoix and Harbor Springs are all located within 20 to 30 minutes of each other by car and if you are feeling ambitious and want to rent a bike check out the Little Traverse Wheelway!
Located approximately 45 minutes from Petoskey, MI is the ferry to Mackinac Island where no cars are allowed - explore the island by foot, bike or even horse!
PETOSKEY/WALLOON LAKE VILLAGE

- Barrel Back Restaurant: Located in Walloon Lake Village, Barrel Back has lots of great food options for all dietary restrictions. If your staying on the lake take advantage of the docks in the village boat from your home to dinner.
- City Park Grill: Although the name has changed you can still find Hemingway's cigar burned into the corner of the bar where he often sat to drink and write! City Park Grill is allergy friendly and has lots of great bar food!
- Chandlers: Located in downtown Petoskey, Chandlers is Stephen and Kate’s favorite restaurant. The Taylors Hash at brunch is always a crowd pleaser!
-The General Store: Walloon Lake Village deli known for its sandwiches. Stop in and grab a Wallooner!
- Mitchell Street Pub: Located in downtown Petoskey, while not very allergy friendly it is still a fan favorite with an eclectic atmosphere and an old school juke box. Great place for burgers, patty melts and potato skins.
- Palette Bistro: Located in downtown Petoskey, Palette Bistro has a great porch and serves Mediterranean food.
- Petoskey Brewing Company: Located in Petoskey, on the way to Harbor Springs, Petoskey Brewing Company offers a wide selection of beers and sandwiches (if a you rent a bike you can even get there via the Wheelway!)
- Vintage Chophouse & Wine Bar: Located in Bay Harbor, Vintage is an upscale steakhouse set in a cozy dinning atmosphere with views of Lake Michigan.
- Tap30: Located in downtown Petoskey, Tap 30 has a buzzy atmosphere, with lots of bar bites and great local beers on tap. We love the wings, get there early as they sell out most days!
- The Back Lot Beer Garden: Located behind Tap 30 in downtown Petoskey, the Back Lot offers rotating schedule of local food trucks with beer, wine and liquor available!
-Walloon Lake Inn: Great views and great food offered up at this semi-upscale option in Walloon Lake Village. Wonderful option for an glass of wine and their delicious truffle fries.
-Sweet Tooth: Cap off an evening stroll in the Village with a cup or cone at this local ice cream shop.

- Stafford's Pier Restaurant: Located on the water in Harbor Springs, the Pier is a great place to check out some beautiful boats.
- Toms Moms Cookies: A little shack in Harbor Springs that offers large warm cookies daily - definitely worth the wait!
